No 6 week portraits today
We didn't get any good portraits today. When I got home from work, I took the puppies outside and was paying all sorts of attention to them. Of course the big dogs felt left out and wanted my attention. Nina doesn't like the puppies and she is always growling at them if they get too close.
She was warning Busy and I should have put her in the house but I didn't. She got Busy right under his eye. Scared poor Busy to death almost. I am sure you could have heard him for miles screaming. It doesn't look bad and I take FULL responsibility for it happening. Nina warned him many times and I didn't take notice. He calmed down quickly and after some cheese and kisses he was back to playing with the siblings quickly.
That kind of ruined my mood for the afternoon. I felt horrible and we just didn't get a chance to get good head shots. I will try again tomorrow.
I also have to pay more attention to my big girls. They have been neglected lately.
Names
By looking at this little face, I would guess this is my big Candy girl!
For everyone that is getting one of my precious puppies, I wanted you to start thinking about registered names. Of course you can use whatever call name you want. For the registered name, most breeders use a theme. The theme for this litter is going to be Shakespeare.
I am not well versed in Shakespeare at all but thankfully I have freinds that are. You can choose a name from the list or come up with your own name as long as it has to do with Shakespeare. I need to double check but I think you can use 28 letters.
If you have any questions, let me know. When you find one you want to use, let me know.
Here are a few...
Eden's Kiss me Kate
Eden A Shakespeare's Sonnet
Eden's This Aove All
Eden's Forever and a Day

What a weekend!
Very busy weekend here! Sorry I haven't had time for updates. I actually haven't taken photos in three days. We had our annual Weimaraner specialty this weekend so I have been there for the past few days. My very good friends boy Oscar that is a frozen semen puppy sired by my Jaeger won best of winners on Friday at his very first show at 7 months old, so it was a good weekend!
The puppies continue to grow and change daily. It is going to be another busy week but hopefully I will be able to get our six week photos up tomorrow. My friend Noa who is Olivia's breeder is coming to see the babies on Wed. I should have a better idea where everyone is going maybe next weekend.

Another 4am video
Sorry I didn't get anything posted yesterday. It was a crazy day and I didn't have time to do anything other then take care of big dogs and little dogs.
The babies are really turning into little crazy monsters! Everyday they have more energy and demand more attention.
I feed the babies their breakfast at 4am while they are in their pen and then they get to come out and play for 1/2 hr.
The reason I have a cupcake tin there is because I want to get them used to loud, sudden noises. I have a metal spoon that I bang on the cupcake tin. The puppies don't seem afraid of much of anything. I took all the girls for a good car ride yesterday and they all did great. I hope to get the boys out soon.

My puppy people are GREAT!
This is Joe and Britney. They are getting one of the boys and are very excited about it! Joe and Britney are getting married in a few weeks and their new baby Bentley will join their family when they are back from their honeymoon. Exciting times for these very nice kids!
I have the best homes ever for my babies!

Olivia's Daddy
Everyone knows I am a crazy dog lady. I would rather be with my dogs then 99% of people. I rarely go out on weekends because I don't like leaving my dogs and frankly I like their company better then most people except perhaps other crazy dog people.
It is VERY hard to find someone that will put up with a crazy dog person! Byron does though and I am very thankful for him. He loves the dogs almost as much as I do and he has been a huge help with taking care of the puppies. He has taken some time off of work so the babies have only been left alone a few times. When I get home from work he has the puppy pen totally clean and the babies are fed and happy.
Thanks Byron!

MVI 0552
My nice camera has HD video on it and this is what I used for this video. It isn't a very good video though because I am not sure how to use it! I hope to practice a little and be able to get some very nice and clear videos of the babies!

Dad finally came to visit!
The puppies Dad Horatio came to see the babies today! It was very nice to see the whole family together. Now most male Weimaraners want NOTHING to do with puppies and are usually quite scared of them. They usually get as far away from them as possible. I was so pleased to see that Horatio didn't mind his babies at all. I just love this family portrait of the family.
More photos of their visit tomorrow. I am tired and we are having three visitors tomorrow.

Busy
So busy these days. The puppies are growing like weeds and eating a ton! I didn't make them enough food this morning and since it takes awhile to make more of it up, I gave them canned food instead. They at ALL their crushed kibble with formula and two big cans of canned food and they still wanted more. Overnight they have become little eating monsters.
We have lots of visitors planned for this weekend and next week. I swear I think this litter of puppies have had more kisses then any puppies ever!
Thanks for the emails asking about Nina and my friend. Nina is doing great and seems back to normal. There is no change in my friend Laurie. She is still in a coma with no changes either good or bad. I am waiting to hear what the results were of MRI she had yesterday. I am kind of scared to hear though.
