The babies are all doing GREAT! They have spent the past few days downstairs in the big dog area and are getting quite comfortable there. I think I may let them spend the night downstairs tonight. The whelping box is getting too small. It is a madhouse in the morning trying to feed them and clean up the box with 10 babies running around acting crazy.
They are starting to get teeth and really starting to play, bark, and growl.
This weekend I think they will take a field trip outside.
They are sure going to be well socialized babies. I am going to start letting new puppy owners come over very soon. Olivia is doing well, she is a bit nervous about letting kids around them and will bark a lot when someone comes over but the barking is just her nature. She hasn't been around a lot of children and doesn't quite know what to think about them around her puppies.
She is charging a entrance fee to see the puppies. Cheese is good also hot dogs, hamburgers etc.
Anything except a dry dog biscuit is good :).
The first photo is my friend Cathy. She has fallen in love with little Purple Girl. The second photo is Lani's Mom, Marti. She is a true dog lover and little Turq just loved her. The adorable little girls are Marcie's nieces. They are so wonderful with the babies and very helpful.
